The
other important elements involve trading philosophy and
trading psychology.
Philosophy and psychology are close cousins
but different academic fields for a reason. Mind and emotion are
related, but are not the same thing. Your psychological makeup
(emotional drivers) plays a big role on your trading philosophy
(strategy and execution).
Knowing "what is the right thing to do" is
not the same as "doing the right thing".
For example, sometimes you feel like doing
something, and sometimes you don't. This is interplay of logic and
feeling is ever present in your trading decisions - always.
Consistency of trade execution is
the key and only way to reliably achieve success, not just in trading
but in life.
Our goal is to expose how a real game of
stock market trading works. You don't need to be the smartest nor
hardest working player to win in this game. However, you need to know
how to play it best.
Trading is a skill, and much like driving -
different roads have different rules that need to be learned before
you can go somewhere. |
